Our Mission

Founded on dignity,
driven by change

The NCDEIF Foundation was born from the encounter between the millennial tradition of the Bangwa people of Cameroon and the global vision of Prof. Martin Nkafu Nkemnkia. Since 1966, when the Focolare arrived in Fontem at the invitation of the Fon, this land has become the operational heart of a project that today embraces more than eight African nations.

Registered office: Via Carlo Fea 4, Rome. Operational base: Fontem, Lebialem Division, Cameroon.

H₂O Fontem — Clean Water for Fontem

In Cameroon a 1.5-litre bottle of water costs ten euros. A beer costs two. Together with the Rotary Club of North Carolina we are building a purification and distribution plant in Fontem to serve schools, health centres and hospitals.

Not aid. Infrastructure. Dignity.
